7/1/2016 · It doesn’t actually disable head tracking, instead it adds a parent object which reverses the head rotation so the camera will remain stationary. You can read cam.rotation to get the rotation ( gyroscope ) values.

I though making look-controls=hmdEnabled:false would disable moving the camera along with the mobile device, yet it didn’t work. I tried to find which controls should i disable , but i only found some intel stating, that WebVr drivers rotate the scene @HMD orientation, not directly from the gyroscopes .
7/9/2016 · Upon using the app AAA VR Cinema Cardboard 3D SBS for viewing a video, I found the setting pure gyroscope option solves the jittery when watching video. I think the problem lies in Accelerometer and Gyroscope running at the same time, currently trying to disable Accelerometer to check if what i say is true.
